“Jenson Button's wife Brittny Ward moans that BA's business class seat caused 'mega damage' to her $26,000 Hermes Birkin and wiped thousands off the value.”

It was scratched.

I understand that for many THIS IS NEWS.

Here's an idea, though.

There's a whole lot of people out here that are truly struggling. Who will never ever know or comprehend what it means to even sit in a business class seat on British Airways. They will never, ever, ever own a Hermes purse, much less a Birkin.

I understand that for Jenson's wife, Brittny, it's awful to have her purse scratched while she's seated on the plane.

However, is this really NEWS? Do we all need to know? It just feels like furthering the divide between those who HAVE and all those who have no idea how they might pay for both rent and groceries and gas for the car because, well, all those things are far more than the pay check that they are able to actually bring home. Definitely way more.

I'm sorry but Brittny Ward is just not really news.

This list of cooling stations in Salt Lake City, for FREE air conditioning and Water available to anyone right now, THIS IS NEWS.

https://endutahhomelessness.org/salt-lake-valley/cooling-centers/

I woke up this morning with a migraine.
Usually that would mean I would not have to get out of bed and I could send my professor to the Coffee Garden to fetch my espresso.
Notice, I said USUALLY.

Today, I don't have my professor.

I also am expected at the acupuncture clinic (where I work) to work a FULL DAY - we are open until 8 tonight.
I need to walk CLYDE, go get my espresso, get myself to the clinic, and hope I'm not half blind and can be somewhat pleasant today.
Did I mention I woke up with a migraine.

I know, the whole world is on fire. These are first world nakedjen problems. Woe is me. However, I would far rather just not even get out of bed.

This old movie theatre could honestly be the permanent home of the Nakedjen Film Festival.

https://colonialtheater.com/

It would be far more than that, as we all know. There is so much opportunity here to literally screen the future of cinema, the future of theatre, the future of music....the future of our collective voices that need to be celebrated and heard.

What better way than in a theatre called *COLONIAL* with an ELEPHANT standing on the roof? I mean, honestly. Let's reframe everything. EVERYTHING.

Let's give this a try. Last night I finished watching Season 2 of THE BEAR and I'm not going to lie to you. I cried. Sobbed, actually. I have worked in kitchens at restaurants that are more closely aligned with THE BEEF than with THE BEAR, but the folks I've worked with are truly my family. Really.

In fact, this morning, I'm on my way to stand there and make whatever it is that needs to be made in a kitchen the size of most walk-in freezers simply because they need a person who might show up and say "Yes, chef!"

Let er rip!
