I was journaling my thoughts, feeling stuck with a story I'm working on. I realized something in that process.

I need to regularly write or the writing puts me in a cage.

So, I had this sort of vision, where I was trapped in a cage with a creature. The creature stayed in the shadows, boney, malnourished, and threatening.

It kept taking bites of me while I wasn't looking. It scared me. It hurt me.

Then I realized that it was biting me because I was not feeding it. It was just hungry and I hadn't fed it in a while.

If I would only feed it, it would not attack me.

So, don't forget to feed your creature. Keep it alive and healthy. It won't be scary if you just remember that it will love you in return if you take care of it.
