Contract signed & many know already. I am leaving the UK & start a new job in Feb 2024 as Assistant Prof @Radboud University in Nijmegen NL. I am absolutely thrilled about this & look so forward to become part of the Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies Department.

Over 13 yrs I lived in the UK so this is a big move. I will certainly miss #London a lot which was my home for the last 5 years. I will keep loving this city but moving to Utrecht certainly has its advantages and wont be less exciting. More affordable through not cheap.

Thanks to Glasgow Uni. & my dear colleagues there. People make Glasgow, I met some wonderful people here which I will miss (you know who you are). Hope we stay in contact...

I am staying a Visting Fellow @LSE which I am so happy about. Really looking forward to stay in contact with all my friends and colleagues there. Working at LSE was one of the best times in the UK for me.

However, since Brexit especially the idea of returning to the continent was always present and I have to admit the last years politically didnt make this decision any harder. NL does have its own political challenges but we are going to be closer to family and friends there.

For now I am looking forward to continue to do my research and teach at the Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies department at Radboud and get to know my new fantastic colleagues there. Already know some people there which I am looking forward to connect with more.

I am back in London December until end of January so if you are around give me a shout and we meet. Would really like to see you all if possible and also come to Utrecht and visit me whenever you like in the Netherlands :-)

<source:markdown>Contract signed & many know already.

For now I am looking so forward to continue to do my research and teach at the Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies department at Radboud and get to know my new fantastic colleagues there. Already know some people there which I am looking forward to connect with more.

I am back in London December until end of January so if you are around give me a shout and we meet. Would really like to see you all if possible and also come to Utrecht and visit me whenever you like in the Netherlands :-)</source:markdown>
