First let me preface this by telling you that I have committed to a practice of writing something every day. Getting all those words in my head downloaded and into a space to accumulate for the greater good.

I have always been very shy, though I worked hard to overcome it and become more extroverted. When COVID hit, with its work-from-home mandates and isolation, it became far too easy to withdraw from society and retreat into introversion. I felt ghosted by many people, hurt, with nowhere to turn. I've had to fight my way back from that darkness. After much recent reflection, I realize I need to start reconnecting with the important people in my life—those who have made a difference, those who have shaped who I am.
