I am happy about Bluesky. It is a good solution at a time we all need a place to congregate and exchange. The rapid momentum that the platform has gained is remarkable.

In that vein, I felt compelled to put something out [for exchange], food for thought if you will.

Hopefully the Thread Writer for Bluesky @threadwriter.bsky.social, a useful tool that Dave Winer @scripting.com put together will handle this thread without a glitch, this is my second attempt to use. The first go-around was glitchy.

The thought occurred to me (during these very perilous times) that our collective efforts could be well spent cultivating a better sense of WE ARE BOUND TO HAVE TO DO THIS TOGETHER if we have any hope of prevailing.

We need to use the platform to leverage our numbers to A) grow the numbers and B) make our collective voice louder and louder and undeniable.

The blasé politicians need to know that their jobs are on the line right along with our democracy and it's not business as usual "on the hill" now that we have Trump and everything he stands for parked in our laps.

The first thing that needs to happen is the public have the ability to get to the bottom of whether the integrity of our election process is intact. If it is not intact, we need to know that for all the obvious reasons. If the 2024 election was hacked, knowing that is the first order of business and hammering on it either until we have the answer (election tally's verified or not) until we either have the definitive answer or we blow the wheels off the buggy in the process.

If we cannot or do not have an intact election process then nothing else matters. If we need to adhere to a manual vote count forever, then so be it.

And lastly, denigrating the people who may have voted for Trump and who may still be following him is NOT the way to go. Those people are our neighbors in some form or fashion and we are all in the same boat. The day is coming when those people are going to have a change of heart, it is already happening, and when they are ready to sit down beside us and start pulling on the oars of the boat in unison they need to not be afraid to do that. As long as Trump can keep us divided, that's his game.

Cultivate the process so more and more everybody can distinguish between right and wrong.

There was a reference to the 2024 election recently coined here in Bluesky, it's appropriate and it sticks. The sham election (unless or until verified) was Democracy's Pearl Harbor.

We had clear signals it was coming prior to and that it had happened, immediately after the polls closed on 11/5/24. Even the casual observers could see that the swing states were upside/down across the board. A CLEAR HOAX.

No (appropriate) sirens went off as the tattered American Flag whipped in the maelstrom while the autistic bunny hopped and the orange blob effused a pure line of bullshit.

Don't be surprised when the EO comes along that removes the stars and stripes entirely. Everything we have stood fast and sacrificed for, for 248 years. To the Dem leadership....we were depending on you and you blew it.

This is a test of the Bluesky thread writer. It apparently automates whatever needs to be automated to conform the Bluesky convention with the object being to become more efficient through the automation process. I am steadily typing to exceed 300 character/spaces to see how this app handles what it is designed to do and how it handles in general as I do the work to compose a post while changing it (longer and shorter), editing it and watching the app behavior as I do all that and then finally publish the post to Bluesky to hopefully delete the post before too many people see the test. .
